A smarter job search in Zimbabwe

Find relevant opportunities, check the details and keep your applications organised.

Choose a manageable focus

Start with a few role titles that fit your experience and the locations where you can realistically work. Search using related terms too: similar work can have different titles at different employers. Save suitable vacancies so you can compare their requirements.

Read beyond the headline

Check the employer, location, closing date, required qualifications and application instructions. A listing is a starting point, not a guarantee of employment. Confirm important details through the employer’s official channels, especially if instructions are unclear or someone asks for money or sensitive information.

Keep a simple application tracker

Record the role, employer, deadline, application link and the date you applied. Save the version of your CV and cover letter used for each application. This makes interview preparation easier and helps you avoid missing deadlines or sending duplicate applications.

Focus on quality and consistency

Set aside regular time to find suitable vacancies and tailor your application. Follow the requested submission method and file naming instructions. Check your email and phone messages, and keep learning while you wait for responses.
